Measure your pet in 30 seconds
You need a soft tape (or a piece of string and a ruler). Let your pet stand relaxed, with a treat if it helps. Keep the tape snug, not tight.
- Neck. Measure around the base of the neck, where a collar sits. You should be able to slip two fingers under the tape.
- Chest (girth). Measure around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
- Back length. Measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Between two sizes? Take the larger one, especially for a fluffy coat.
